THRIVING RIPPLE

who they are:
Thriving Ripple is an online living legacy focused on sharing stories and experiences across multiple generations. The mementos of the past, present, and future are saved online to be shared with loved ones forever.

the problem presented:
The founders of Thriving Ripple connected with my design team at NKU’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship for a logo and design kit to represent the passion and living connection they envisioned. After I graduated, they sought me out to aid in working with their programmers to build the front-end website of their service.

my solutions:
Honing in on the ripple of generational waves, I created a logo featuring facial profiles transitioning from old to young. This aging flow is kept organic and soft to communicate the malleable growth of life and loved ones throughout time.

From here, I leaned into large waves and shapes to flow users through the website. One of the biggest things I wanted to focus on was keeping functionality meshed with an open, flowing design, so I worked closely with their main developer to achieve this with the ease of the back and front ends.
