who they are:
Abode Advantage is an updated solution to residential living that assists residents in achieving inspirational aging through connected living.
the problem presented:
George Hagen, founder of Abode Advantage, first approached my team at NKU’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship to receive branding help to kick off their huge endeavors. Shortly after graduation, George reached out to continue expanding with his team as the lead designer for their marketing needs and materials.
my solutions:
I worked with George and his team to create brand materials to increase their outreach and reinforce their core message: Abode Advantage is a new, homely approach that pushes away from the current nursing home formula to that of safety, open spaces, and freedom. To showcase this, we worked to build a visual foundation that communicates those core concepts. I created a website focusing on navigational simplicity and straightforward messaging to make the sign-up process easily accessible. Given the older targeted audience, we kept the font size on the website and future collateral for more manageable readability.
As they continued to grow and build their first residential home, I worked on-site to create all the forms, flyers, brochures, booklets, photography, and more to expand their marketing reach. One of our biggest projects was creating the Virtual Tour video, which included interior and exterior shots of their first constructed facility.
